Captcha is us training AI models – This is one of the ways AI is trained, we are labeling the data, helping the system check if it can also recognize that bridge as a bridge. While you and I see the captcha, The Common Crawl is a dataset that gets updated monthly on all the internet (not quite, but kind of) and is used as a primary training dataset for most LLMs.
My point being (I think) – We are inundated by this technology. Whether we consciously choose to use it in specific places, we are interacting with it often. It’s worth understanding and learning so we can make conscious and informed decisions on how we engage.
